If an ancient human followed you through a normal modern day, they might not think you were advanced. They might think you were trapped. You wake up to an alarm. Sit in traffic. Stare at screens. Eat food from plastic. Work with invisible numbers. Pay money to walk indoors. Then lie in a soft bed, exhausted, scrolling a glowing rectangle instead of sleeping. Ancient life was harder. Modern life is safer. But comfort made us strange. In this video, we look at modern life from a prehistoric human point of view — movement, food, work, sleep, loneliness, technology, comfort, and the strange habits we now consider completely normal. We cannot know exactly what ancient humans would think, and modern hunter-gatherers are not “living fossils.” This video uses anthropology and human evolution as a way to ask a simple question: which parts of modern life would look strange from a prehistoric point of view? #ancienthumans #prehistory #humanhistory #anthropology #historyexplained #pastly
